How to make it

  • Pit and peel plums
  • Cut up in small pieces and place in saucepot with 2 Tbs sugar
  • Cook over med low heat, stirring now and then until plums are soft, about 20 minutes
  • Cool and stir in the remaining sugar and lemon juice and beat briefly till smooth
  • Beat the cream and fold into the plum mixture.
  • Chill a few hours until serving, may place in small glass serving bowls etc.
  • Sprinkle over some grated nutmeg.
