Somersault Cake

Deep south at its finest. Every Granny here has there own version of this cake, mine used yellow cake batter. Try what ever kind you like white, spice, or ginger. Get creative!
Ingredients
- 1 box of your favorite cake mix., prepared according to box shopping list
- 4 tbsp. butter shopping list
- 1 generous cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup diced pineapples shopping list
- 1 cup peacans, whole shopping list
- 1 cup raisins shopping list
- 1 cup honey shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a bowl prepare cake mix according to box. Set aside.
- In an iron skillet melt butter.
- Add brown sugar and pat down smooth.
- Sprinkle with pineapples, pecans, and raisins. Pour honey over top. Pour in cake batter mix and bake for 35 min..
- Cool briefly and turn out onto a plate before it sets up.
- Top with whipped cream and serve.
