How to make it

  • To make syrup bring sugar and water to a boil stirring and boiling until sugar dissolves.
  • Let syrup cool then chill covered until ready to use.
  • Put tea bags in a heatproof pitcher.
  • In saucepan bring water just to a boil and pour over tea bags.
  • Steep tea 5 minutes and remove tea bags then cool tea and chill covered for 1 hour.
  • Stir in nectar and syrup then serve over ice in tall glasses.
