How to make it

  • sieve dry ingredients and add shortening.
  • rub in on slow speed until a crumble.
  • add all eggs and continue until a a smooth paste is formed.
  • whisk whole egg and sugar gently.
  • add in water and milk.
  • press the paste into the tart moulds.
  • pour the custard into the tart shell.
  • bake at 200C for 20-25 mins until the custard sets.
