How to make it

  • Melt the sugar slowly over low heat until it turns caramel color.
  • Add the water (it will sputter and some will harden,but will melt again.)
  • Add the milk and heat to slow boil.
  • Add the cornstarch dissolved in a small amount of water,cook mixture until thickened.
  • Serve warm or cold,with,or without,cream.

    Well, I love caramelized sugar, so I think that this would be great! I would be tempted to use more milk in place of some of the water, though, but I'll definitely be trying it!
