How to make it

  • Place the crushed vanilla wafers in a 9" x 13" dish, reserving 1/2 cup for topping. Finely crush the reserved wafers and set aside.
  • Combine pudding mix and milk and beat until smooth and thickened, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Add sour cream and half of the whipped topping; mix well.
  • Place half of the pudding mixture over the wafers and smooth.
  • Arrange sliced banana over pudding mixture.
  • Cover with the remaining pudding mixture and smooth again.
  • Top with remaining whipped topping then sprinkle with the reserved finely chopped wafers and add a dash of nutmeg.
