How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Whisk together milk, cream, eggs, salt and 1/3 cup honey in a medium bowl.
  • Pour custard into 6 custard cups and place cups in a deep sided baking dish.
  • Fill baking dish with water to reach half way up sides of the custard cups.
  • Bake custard 25 minutes then remove from oven and water bath to cool.
  • Refrigerate covered at least 2 hours.
  • Fifteen minutes before serving put berries, remaining honey, cinnamon and juice in saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally for 5 minutes then remove from heat.
  • To serve run knife around circumference of each custard cup and invert each onto dessert plates. Top with warm spiced berries and serve.
