Stuffed Trout

- 2 to 2-1/2 Pound trout shopping list
- (Pike,salmon,red snapper,can be substituted) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1 onion,chopped shopping list
- 1/2 Cup mushrooms,sliced shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 Cup Soft bread Crumbs shopping list
- 3 anchovy fillets,mashed shopping list
- 3 Tablespoon milk shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon parsley,snipped shopping list
- 1/4 Cup butter,melted shopping list
- 2 Tablespoon Fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 Clove garlic,chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Rub cavity of fish with the salt and pepper.
- Cook and stir the onion and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter ,until onions are tender.
- Mix onion,mushrooms,bread crumbs,anchovies,milk,and parsley.
- Spoon into cavity of fish.
- Close opening with skewers,lace with string.
- Place fish in a shallow pan.
- Mix 1/4 cup butter,lemon juice and garlic.
- Brush fish with the mixture.
- Cook uncovered in a 350 degree oven,brushing occasionally with butter mixture,until fish flakes easily with a fork...about 1 hour.
- Serve garnished with parsley sprigs,thinly sliced lemon..and a really good White Wine.
