  • 1 (.75 once) package dried black mushrooms
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 tsp. dark sesame oil
  • 5 cups snow-peas, trimmed (about 1 lbs.)
  • 1 (8 once) can sliced bamboo shoots, drained
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions
  1. Boil 1 cup of water.
  2. In a bowl combine, water and mushrooms; cover and let stand for 15 min.
  3. RESERVE 2 tbsp. of soaking mushroom liquid, drain the rest; discard mushroom stems, thinly slice caps; set aside.
  4. Heat oil over med.-high heat, in a wok or non stick skillet. Add mushrooms and bamboo shoots; stir fry 2 min.
  5. Add reserved soaking mushroom liquid, snow peas, sugar, and salt; stir fry 2 min.
  6. Remove from wok and serve.
