Bankheads Quiche Lorraine Recipe

How to make it

  • Thaw pie shell for 15 minutes.
  • Prick bottom and sides of shell with fork a few times.
  • Bake directly on oven rack for 10 min. at temp. on the package.
  • Saute onion (and bacon if using real) until browned and drain well.
  • Sprinkle evenly in shell.
  • Top with 1 cup cheese and set aside.
  • Combine eggs, milk and spices, stirring well.
  • Pour into shell and top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 50 minutes until set.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
