Bear Cave Chili

- 3 Lbs ground chuck shopping list
- 1 Lb venison shopping list
- 60 To 80 Oz. tomato sauce (plain) shopping list
- 4 To 6 Oz garlic Minced shopping list
- 8 Ounces worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 8 Ounces Mild Green Chiles chopped shopping list
- 20 Medium fresh jalapenos see note shopping list
- 8 Ounces Hot relish (Old Elpaso) shopping list
- 5 Large Vidallia onions minced shopping list
- 2 Tsp garlic salt shopping list
- 1 Tsp seasoned Salt shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp oregano shopping list
- 4 Cans kidney beans (15 oz. each) shopping list
- 15 Oz. Can pinto beans shopping list
How to make it
- Note: chopped in rings then quartered.
- Brown meat in skillet with Worcestershire sauce, the oregano, garlic salt and seasoned salt. Put tomato sauce, minced garlic, green chilies, jalapenos, kidney beans, pinto beans, onions, and old elpaso hot relish and heat on medium high till near boiling. When meat is browned add juice and all to the rest and cook for 1 and 1/2 hours over low heat.

I was looking for a chili I could use with ground black bear meat. This is an excellent recipe for that ( I removed all the bear fat and replaced it with bacon). Preparation was pretty simple and smelled incredible while cooking. I wound up taking ab...more
