Banana Wheat Pecan Pancaes

- 1 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 cup wheat flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup cornmeal shopping list
- 1 beaten egg shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups buttermilk shopping list
- 1 ripe banana mashed shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter melted shopping list
- 2 teaspoons honey shopping list
- 1/4 cup toasted pecans shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons melted butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup orange juice shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl stir together soda, flours and toasted pecans.
- Mix together egg, buttermilk, melted butter and honey then stir just until mixed.
- Combine topping ingredients and cook until syrupy.
- Sauté bananas in syrup until warm and serve on pancakes with cream and two pecan halves.
