German Meatballs

- 1 pound lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 pound ground pork shopping list
- 1/2 cup white onion chopped, finely shopping list
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley snipped shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 egg- beaten shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil shopping list
- 3 cups sauerkraut shopping list
- 1/3 cup water shopping list
How to make it
- In large mixing bowl combine first ten ingredients then shape into 18 balls about 2" each.
- Heat oil in a large skillet then brown meatballs evenly on all sides.
- Remove meatballs from skillet and drain leftover oil from skillet.
- Spoon sauerkraut into skillet and top with meatballs then cover and simmer 15 minutes.
