  I know I’m rather late getting on the band-wagon here, but I JUST got back from the “Vegas Gathering of AllRecipeeps”. (Well actually a few days ago but we had a family birthday, the holiday weekend and visitors from out of town. So this is the first chance I’ve really had to be online.) I missed the feedback and such from the other foodies, which just bums me out but…. I was in Vegas for a separate reunion and was unable to attend all but one of the AR events. My hubby, my mom and I (all AR members) met with the foodies on Friday, on The Strip, at the Harley-Davidson Cafe. We had a great time and it was so nice to meet everyone. A special thanks here to AllRecipes.com for sending Elizabeth and for picking up the tab--how very nice. From the few blips I’ve read, it sounds like we really missed a fantastic time the next day at the luau--oh how I wish…. MauiGirl was so generous to lend her home, host and organize this Gathering (darn, I missed out on the scrapbooks she made) and I send her our thanks and kudos on the successfulness of it all. Another darn that I missed out on, was meeting some of the foodies that weren’t there on Friday. And even though we didn’t get any of the fun gifts (e.g. the AR bag or spatulas), I appreciate that so many foodies and AR were thoughtful enough to send them. I hope these AR Gatherings can continue and move around the country and around the globe. Thanks to all involved in any way. Oh, and Mis7Up--a tat, really? You deserve a lifetime membership for that!
