  Well now, my Granny from Ireland used to brew her own beer and my Dad said it was the best!!! He said it was more like a Porter or Stout type beer. She was born in the early 1800's and unfortunately, her recipe from Ireland died with her in 1961 when I was only 9 years of age. I am not a big beer consumer but I have been known to enjoy a Guinness from time-to-time ;-) Now, if I could only duplicate Guinness in my own home. Hubby loves a good brew.
