Garbage Can Prime Rib Roast

We have cooked a few turkeys using this method and decided to try a prime rib roast using it. It turned out great. The outside temp was just about freezing or 32deg.F. It was a 6 lb bone in prime rib. We put the bone side down (closest to the ground. We seasoned the outside of the roast with salt and pepper and inserted lots of garlic pioeces. We also added an extra piece of beef fat on top of the roast and tied it on with string. Used a filleting knife and cut a hole through the center of the roast and slid it down on to the metal 3/4" steel bar we had drivin into the ground. This bar has a crosspiece welded on so it can only slid so far. We covered with the garbage can. Bricketts all around and on top. Cooked for 1 Hr and 5 min. Came out perfect. Med rare and juicy. Best roast we have ever had. Will post a picture if I can figure out how to. :-)
