  When I cut onions I put them in an open small bowel (no lid) just use a paper towel to wrap the onion up or just place on top of a cut onion, never putting it in a closed or zip container.. my mom told me about it, cause my frig would smell like onions so would everything else... just use a paper towel and no more onion smells.. try it, my hubby was convinced when he couldn't smell any onion smell and the onion only had a paper towel on it!!!
