Advent Calendar

I thought this was a cute and different idea for an Advent Calendar. I got this from a Christmas Group I belong to.. Thanks Tracy!

    Advent calendar

    Materials needed:

-1 metal mini muffin pan (the kind that holds 24 mini muffins)
-paint, color of your choice to paint the pan
-thin magnetic sheet - you'll need enough of this to cut 24 squares that will cover the mini muffin holes on the pan.
-adhesive (to attach the paper on the magnets)
-calendar squares, best if you can find a scrapbook sheet with numbers on it or you could use card stock and a cut up calendar.

You take a mini muffin pan and paint it the color of your choice.
Then you cut the magnetic sheet in smaller squares large enough to completely cover each of the 24 holes in the pan.
Cover each square with paper of your choice that will represent one day of each of the 24 days before Christmas (or if you'd rather have a day on the pan to represent Christmas, you might want to just leave off the 1st!)
When you've completed the project there will be squares covering each
hole with the dates. You can do this vertically or horizontally.
After it's completed, fill each individual hole with candy, money, or
whatever little trinkets that you would like to put in there. It looks great sitting on a book holder. The great thing about it is that you can reuse it every year!!
