The Idiot Box

Its what my Dad use to call the T.V when I was a kid. Still I have noticed that there have been some really good ideas if you are interested in making some money in the food industry. First look at the show "Unwrapped" on the Food Network. It is chocked full of ideas that you can do. Next, I don't know if Martha Stewart knows of all of the secrets she is letting loose on her show, but always take a gander at that and look at what they are doing on Etsy.com. They not only sell craft projects but food items as well, selling them from their home.
The best idea I got though is from "The Super Nanny" where a woman needed help with her children while she was conducting a cookie selling business inside of her home. Its a easy recipe to do and there is very little loss of product if you know how to mix and follow a timer.

If you are really interested in cooking for cash, there is no reason why you haven't already begun or doing well in it even as you are reading this.

Love etsy.com great site with lots of helpful hints. I want to do my hot sauce, but I always thought I needed a commercial kitchen. Great thread, dear.

I live in Indiana, and tried the commercial kitchen route and believe me ,it is Hell!!!!! I first got my retail license, then found out because of a new state law I needed a commercial kitchen license..... I tried everything I was not allowed to use a school, a church etc. I am not a rich woman by any means. It's funny how the laws vary in Chicago you can cook in your home in Indiana you can't. Sorry, I just had to Vent!!!!!
