  The importance of a good recipe takes on a whole new meaning now. We do however have some distinct advantages over our able-bodied friends. One obvious one is we will never admit to standing in front of a hot stove all day to produce your master piece;-)). The other obvious one is a good lap tray becomes a third hand, and that can only be claimed by aliens or women with a memory like an elephant and can seriously multi task, so the ‘I may need this.” Can be put on the lap tray and saves you a return trip. I know that sounds like cheating but you must remember we actually only have one hand as the other is constantly moving the chair.
