A Bad Cranberry Idea.. do not try this at home!

  I like to try out new recipes and experiment all the time in the privacy of my kitchen. Yesterday, I learned something that I should have known already. I made a basic roll recipe and after making the dough into small balls before setting to rise, I stuck about three raw, fresh cranberries inside a few of the dough balls, sealing the dough around the berries. They baked beautifully... all golden and shiny with the melted butter. And when I bit into them, I was surprised at just how bitter the berries were after baking in the dough. Do not do this! Its a bad idea. Annie
