Looking for information about Diet and Crohn's & Colitis

  Last year my father was diagnosed with severe Ulcerative Colitis. While it was a life altering diagnosis, it wasn't the feared colon cancer. Through my study of the disease it doesn't seem like there has been enough research on the impact of diet and whether or not diet plays a direct role in developing these two diseases. I'm hoping others that have a tie with Crohn's and Colitis will share their recipes to help others on the path to better management of these inflammatory bowel diseases. Thanks.
