Sugar Substitutes

    I have a major sweet tooth, and sugary treats were hard for me to give up. I've switched to using stevia and splenda. Aspartame seems to give me headaches. What sugar subs do you use, or what is your secrete to giving up the sweet stuff?

Whether you get 15 grams of carbs from potatoes or 15 grams of carbs from candy, it's still 15 grams of carbs. The wisest use from that allowance comes from nutritional value so I try to opt for carbs that offer fiber and nutrition... but I'm not perfect. The most important word that I have learned since my diagnosis is MODERATION.
