My electric skillet is by Rival. It's a large, rounded rectangle shape, and is deep. It comes off of the base, and goes into the oven to double as a roaster!!!

My son gave it to me for Christmas a couple of years ago! I love it...use if for chili, spaghetti sauce, raosts, just about everything. (That doesn't go into my Rival slow cooker...LOL).

OK, now I'm off to buy an electric skillet! I had one a long time ago....The non-stick coating started peeling, so I threw it away. Also, my Vet told me not to use non-stick pans....because they give off a poisonous gas that will Kill birds. I have a Parrot. It's also been linked to Alzheimer's.

Yeah, I think that's why most of them say "do not use on high"! My mom thought she read that somewhere. And, i have noticed that anything like pasta or potatoes, where you boil a lot of water in the pan, tastes funny....like dish soap or something..I don't use them much anymore...Been keeping a check at Tuesday Morning for new, good pans!
