Does anyone know a recipe for fake soft serve ice cream for use in a photo shoot?

I worked 10 years in advertising... the people we hired for food used crisco and flour to make ice cream that could take the hot lights.. I would think you could make it 'softer" and give it a shot.. Let me know if it works..

it takes 4 cups confection sugar, 1/4 cup shortening, and corn syrup to add the shiny look, just add that till you get the look you want! it will hold up to the lights... and if you add color (not liquid food coloring, it will change the consistency) you can make it any flavor of ice cream you want
