Avocado seeds

  The avocado seeds are piling up at my house! I have heard how you can grow an avocado but I never have been successful. Has anyone ever done this?

  I've got 3 seeds that I am testing to see if I can grow one. I'll let you know the outcome ;-)

  When I was younger my family did this for fun. We placed the seed on a humid cotton ball. You have to spray the cotton with water and make sure it doesn't dry out. Have it on a dry place away from direct light.
