any tips on strawberries?

any tips on strawberries?

  I am having problems w/ my strawberries. I have 3 plants in a big pot, planted on the sides. The just do not seem to be growing or putting on flowers or anything, but they don't look like they are dying either. Does anyone have any advice?

  If you can get wild strawberries they are a boon. I have white as well as red. They self-seed and coming up all over the garden so I can grab a handful as I wander through!
