  I'm planting my fall garden, and because of hurricane Ike and the natural prunning of my trees, along with the butchering of them due to the electric company (oh well), I have lots more sun in my garden, so I am able to plant a lot more this year. We usually have luck with all types of greens, but I would like a variety of things...my husband could eat greens everyday, but my daughter and I would get sick of them pretty quick. If you are in the south, what veggies do you have luck with? Thanks for your help!

  You might be able to get some bush beans in and some beets. Cabbages, cauliflower and broccoli would do well at cooler temps.
  You can also do a search for southern winter gardening and see what is suggested.
