Pasta with Squash and Pine nuts

  So glad I found this group, which I think is perfect for this dish.
  
  My husband is not fond of tomato-based pasta sauces, but I try to avoid Alfredo and cheese- based sauces because of the fat. So, in my quest for a new and interesting pasta sauce, I came up with the idea of using squash. I didn’t have a recipe, but made this dish for my husband and a vegetarian friend for Saturday lunch. It was a hit.
  
  I estimated quantities. I would appreciate hearing your suggestions for adjustments/improvements before I post it in some other groups. Thanks!
