Looking for recipe..

  of Syrian/Middle Eastern origin, that I believe is made during Ramadan. It's a dessert or breakfast food made with smeed and sounds like, "Helateeya". Doing a web search I found "Mamounia", but I don't believe this is the same. Any assistance in helping me identify the proper name and/or recipe, would be greatly appreciated.
