I like the shortcake recipe on the box of Bisquick and I also have some buttermilk to use up. Has anyone ever used buttermilk with Bisquick? Or will I have to be the first? :-D

Thank you, Jett. I saw online where you could substitute buttermilk for certain things with Bisquick (not pancakes or waffles apparently) but nowhere where anyone said they had actually done it!

Ok, made the shortcake using buttermilk. It was a bit more crumblier than the milk one but I really liked the taste. Worth the crumbles. At least I now know something else I can use up some buttermilk in!
