Baking a cake at mile high altitude?

    What do you do to make your baked good come out great? I just have not mastered it!

    I ran into this problem when I went to Colorado to visit a friend.
    They lived in the valley were it was over 500 feet above sea level.
    My friend had a chart on there refrigerator to convert baking recipes.
    We had to adjust the amount of water and temperature for making bread.
