Artichoke And Basil Hero

  I was looking for another sandwich to make that used some of the same ingredients as my last sandwich I posted but different at the same time. Found this little gem! The basil sauce, which reminded me of a chimichurri was so delicious! If a recipe has artichokes, I'm in, and loved them on this. I also toasted this sandwich. Yum, it was so good :)

  Artichoke is one of my favourite but unfortunately not readily available here.
  I did find some nice ones at Costco a while back and enjoyed everyone of them.
  Every time I have one it brings m back to my childhood.

  Thank you Manella :) I used artichoke hearts out of a jar! I don't think our store has fresh artichokes right now, not sure what season they are in?
