Avocado With Tahini Recipe

    Green Recipe Challenge

This "Avocado With Tahini Recipe" was far more delicious than I had anticipated. I made this recipe from memory and thought there was an emphasis on making it smooth and creamy, so I pureed my garlic with my nutmeg grater and blended the ingredients in my mini-food processor. I guess I didn't quite get the instructions correct; however, I will definitely do my garlic for dips this way from now on (pureed instead of pressed) owning to the smoothness. I added my own "Iranian twist" to this recipe by serving it with tomato slices for a complete meal. I can image so many tasty vegan wraps made with this dip (with legumes or leaves) that I can see myself making this often. Thank you Jimrug1 for sharing your recipe!

Great photo, MrsJ! I haven't acquired a taste for tahini, but this looks very enticing.

DIZ - It doesn't actually taste like tahini. What I am thinking is that the tahini advocato base could be the base of a chocolate dessert. It is really just rich and creamy; however, it you don't like tahini, then maybe you would taste it more.
