Berry Banana Blaster Smoothie

  • eastcoaster 3 years ago
A refreshing smoothie for any time of the day, I had it for breakfast.
The only thing I did different is that I added a hand full of blueberries
and a scoop of peanut butter for protein. It made two generous portions.
I will make this again. It is a keeper.
Sorry about the photo being on the dark side, but the lighting was off.

It looks most delicious! I love smoothies but never think to make them and I've never heard of adding a scoop of peanut butter. That's cool. Can you taste it?

Oh yum, I bookmarked this one! I have some strawberries probably about to go bad and I'm going to pop them in the freezer to make this :) looks delicious Manella!

That looks delicious Manella! I love how creamy it looks with just a banana and no yogurt or milk of any kind! I never thought to use peanut butter for protein, I usually add a scoop of Vega-protein powder but it's so expensive I haven't bough it in awhile--thanks for the peanut butter idea!! :)

Thank you Chuckieb, you can taste just a hint of peanut butter, which i like and sometimes add extra:)

Thank you Michelle, it is worth a try:)

Thank you Shona, i used to use the vegan protein powder but like you say it is very expensive. Peanut or any nut butter or dates are good protein to add and i find it keeps me just as full as the protein powder did.
