Cinnamon Rolls With Cream Cheese Topping

I made this recipe and it turned out really good! I found that the filling wasn't enough to cover 15x11 dough so I made another batch of filling. It made 16 but recipe states 18. I rolled the dough to 15x11 inches. They didn't rise any more while resting on cookie sheet before baking. The cream cheese was perfect for the topping. I just left the cream cheese in a bowl so we could scoop it. I knew I'd have some rolls leftover and would have to heat them up and didn't want the cream cheese to melt. I'll be making this again. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Linda, after making the dough it has to rest 2hrs to rise. Then after cutting into dough log, it has to rest again for 1 hr. Takes patients to make this recipe.

Yum! Nothing beats homemade cinnamon rolls!! :D
I think you can skip the first rise because it uses rapid rise yeast. I usually let the dough rest for ten minutes after mixing, then roll, fill, cut and let proof for at least 30mins (or until risen) before baking. :)

My family LOVES homemade cinnamon rolls! I find even if I use the same recipe, they always come out different, or rise differently. Probably the freshness of the yeast or other ingredients. Sounds delicious and bookmarking!
