* Made for the January Casserole Recipe Challenge *

I found this recipe after getting inspired from Shona's post of the Apple Crisp :) It is totally delicious!! I left out the raisins and doubled up on the cinnamon plus added a little sprinkle of cinnamon into the topping as well. I wasn't sure how the topping would go over, since it was describes as "cake like". It was cake-like, but in a good way, maybe more of a cross between a cake and a biscuit? Anyway, my husband went on and on about how much he liked the topping, so it was a winner :-) Served with the only ice cream we had, Neapolitan lol! Not the most beautiful dessert to get a picture of lol.

My husband loves a good cobbler too. I make a peach one that has a pretty cakey texture, but this looks like a good in-between like you said! I will have to give it a try. :)
