Creamy Italian Sausage Pasta

  *Made for the January Rice/Pasta Recipe Challenge*
  
  I made this YEARS ago, and came across it again when searching for Italian sausage and pasta. SO GOOD!! This time I used only red bell pepper and I didn't have the wine so I used chicken broth. Also added a few cloves of chopped garlic. Still amazing, simple, and a big hit around here :) This is the recipe that originally taught me to use pasta water to thicken and add moisture to pasta dishes!
