AWESOME! A classic Greek combination of lamb, Feta, Spinach, and Tzatziki Sauce that did not disappoint. I made a few adjustments, but nothing that would significantly change the outcome. Instead of frozen spinach, I sauteed a 6oz bag of fresh spinach in olive oil until it was wilted. Also used a whole egg. Waste not, right? Even though mint is the authentic way to go, I omitted it. DH and I do like mint! The cucumber-dill sauce (Tzatziki) was near perfect. It just needed some salt and pepper. I also added more dill because I love dill and can never have too much. Fried the burgers in the same skillet I used to saute the spinach. Like a Gryro on a bun! In case you are wondering, I did use ground lamb.

    Gorgeous photo Diz!
I love, love, love Greek food! And these sound right up my alley. Gyro's were a favorite street food of mine and my husband's (when we lived in Vancouver we had so much street food available). So I know we would love this burger! I think I have everything to make this, even the mint, so this is on the menu soon! :D
    Awesome recipe find Diz!! :)

Thank you, Cosmicmother! We also love Gyros. We found a really good mom 'n pop Greek restaurant here that is owned by a Greek family. The problem is that it's 70 miles away. That might be a good thing or I would be eating out all of the time. lol!

Beautiful photo DIZ and the recipe looks delicious, something I would like. I make something similar using ground turkey and I love it, then again anything feta is a win-win!!
