I had some homemade biscuits ready and was looking for a quick gravy to make. Found this, and it was super simple and easy! I used bacon dripping and topped with bacon pieces. The family loved it :)

Lovely photo Michelle, and a great find, I imagine this can be made with lactose free milk. I will have to give it a go. Thanks for posting, saved.

I was too wondering if this could be made with lactose free Diz! I tried a little taste of this but am eating healthy so didn't indulge in the full meal :P I love almond milk but even when it's unsweetened it has a slight natural sweetness that I'm curious if it would come through? I guess some testing is in the future! Thanks :)

Wow! I never heard of milk gravy but the picture sure does look good Michelle and makes me want to try it. About how much bacon grease do you think you used?

Great photo, Mommyluvs2cook! This is how I was taught to make white gravy for mashed potatoes. I usually use fried chicken drippings, pork chop drippings, etc. I've never tried with bacon drippings. It sounds yummy and looks good over the biscuits.

Thanks ladies! Linda, I think I used about 2 Tbs. bacon grease :)
This gravy is pretty versatile and I would think can be used for breakfast or dinner, I guess depending on what meat drippings you use!
