    New Years Day Dumpling Soup
Recipe made for IMI2's February 2019 "Asian or Chocolate" challenge. This obviously fulfills the Asian part of the challenge.

My review: What an incredible, delicious, and easy to make soup! I used chicken broth because my pot stickers were filled with a chicken filling. Used the soy sauce and sesame oil as directed because I did not have a seasoning packet. Very easy to adjust recipe to make more or less. LOVE IT!!

What I love most about this recipe is not only is it delicious but the ingredients are few. It's so easy to throw together, satisfying, and very easy to adjust up or down depending how much you want to make.

I came across this recipe awhile back and wanted to make it! I even bought the dumplings awhile ago and kept asking myself "what was I going to make with these?" Searched my bookmarks and couldn't find anything---I forgot to bookmark the recipe! Thanks for posting this and bringing it back to my attention!! :D
It looks so good Linda!! A great comfort-food type soup. And simple too!
I have pork and leek dumplings to make this with, can't wait! :D

Nice photo, LindaLMT! Love the presentation! I think simple Asian soups are some of the most comforting soups around.

Thank you Shona and DIZ. Simple for me is better as I don't have a lot of room for the varied ingredients Asian cooking usually requires. Hot and Sour is my favorite though.
