Penne Pasta With Ham

I really enjoyed this and it's a great way to use up leftover ham. The recipe was very easy to follow and turned out exactly as expected. I couldn't get a better photo as I was really hungry after smelling this cook!!

Made this for dinner tonight, and it was devoured!! Everyone loved it and had seconds! The lemon zest is perfect in this, brightens it up without being sour from the juice. I added a little of the starchy pasta water to make a creamy emulsion with the butter. And added some peas for colour as I didn't have any parsley. (added photo to recipe)
I would keep ham on hand more often just to make this dish! YUM!
