I made this again and I just have to say how wonderful this recipe is again! It's so simple but so flavourful. Don't leave anything out, especially the zest!
I had a little bit of coffee creamer leftover that I added to the sauce at the end with some parmesan cheese. Not enough to make a cream sauce, just enough to emulsify with the butter and olive oil.
I said I would buy a ham just to make this again and I did, it's that good!! Try it, you won't be disappointed! :)

Love it!! The whole family devoured it, including the kids! I will definitely make this again and again!
I added a little of the pasta cooking water to help emusilfy the sauce. And added peas for colour and texture. The lemon really makes the dish!

Used leftover Easter ham for this recipe for a quick dinner. I wanted it to be a one-pot dish, so I steamed some fresh broccoli and added it when I added the ham. I also sautéed sliced mushrooms with the onion and garlic. When I added the lemon zest I also added about a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. My parsley was no longer any good, so I crushed some rosemary and added that to the mix. It was really good! This is a great recipe and my tweaks fit in nicely. Thank you, Manella!

Sometimes I just want a simpler dish and this ticked all of the boxes. So easy and quick to get onto the table. I loved the lemon in this dish. Thanks for sharing Manella.
