***May 2019 Group Recipe Challenge--Tropical Foods***

These were AWESOME! Loved the sweet, BBQish tasting sauce. Very similar to some of the sauces used over cocktail meatballs. I have to tell you that hubby is loving tropical month because he’s getting to eat pineapple dishes. I did not make these in the crockpot. I didn’t get back from the store until mid-afternoon. I put them in a covered pot with a small amount of water in the bottom to keep from burning and cooked on the stove top letting them simmer for about an hour. Maybe a little longer. Then drained off the liquid and added the sauce. Turned the burner down to the lowest burning setting for about another hour. The ribs were literally falling apart! I had to remove them with a slotted spoon. This is my new favorite way to make ribs! I love country ribs and this recipe is going in the regular meal rotation.

Oh wow, that does look fall-apart tender, delcious! My Hubby is loving this month's challenge too. The first thing he said to me when I told him this months challenge was "We have to make ribs!", so I know he would LOVE this recipe!! I love the hoisin sauce and ginger in this, hoisin is so good with pork! Yum! :D

Thank you, LindaLMT! I did use country style ribs. I should also mention that they had bones. I think meat cooked on the bone tastes so much better than boneless.
