    Poor Mans Monte Cristo

My review: This is a fantastic, no hassle, version of a Monte Cristo. I loved it!! Loved the "pop" a raspberry jam I used along with deli roasted turkey breast and baby swiss cheese. I opted not to sprinkle with powder sugar but bet it would be delightful with it. Great recipe Feartheboognish!

The photo looks good enough to eat! I have never put jelly on and sandwich except peanut butter and jelly one.

LindaLMT, that looks so good! I've always wanted to try a Monte Cristo and now I really want one. The raspberry jam, turkey, and Swiss cheese sounds like a really good combo. I would have to try it with powdered sugar. :) Very nice photo!

An authentic Monte Cristo is so good DIZ but too much trouble to make at home (at least for me).
I never have put jelly on a sandwich other than with peanut butter too Cheryl but this was good.
    It was delicious Manella.
    Thank you ladies!
