Ingredients

How to make it

  • Spread a this layer of jelly on both slices of bread. Layer the cheeses and meats to desired thickness. Close sandwich and butter both outside surfaces, or use Pam spray, but make sure you coat evenly for best results.
  • Fry the sandwich in a saute pan on Med to Med-High heat until it's golden brown. Flip and do the same to the other side. If you're really feeling frisky, sprinkle the sandwich with powdered sugar at the end.
  • Tastes divine and is simple to make!

This is a fantastic, no hassle, version of a Monte Cristo. I loved it!! Loved the "pop" a raspberry jam I used along with deli roasted turkey breast and baby swiss cheese. I opted not to sprinkle with powder sugar but bet it would be delightful with it. Great recipe Feartheboognish!
