Sausage and Lentil Soup.

I was looking for a recipe for lentil soup and I saw this one that Shona rated so I had to try it.
Thank you for finding this Shona it was so good.

Delicious. I used mild Italian sausage and 1 28oz. can of Italian Tomatoes.
I had no fennel or crushed red pepper but it turned out great.
Both hubby and I enjoyed it a lot. I will make this again.

I'm so glad you and hubby liked it Manella! I make this quite often and have some sausage waiting in the freezer just for this soup! Lovely photo, I like how you kept it chunky but it still looks thick and hearty, yum! :)

Shona, thank you and I’m glad you put this on the challenge. We both like soup a lot and I do like it a bit chunky. I made a huge pot of turkey stock this morning for the freezer:))
