Stuffed Artichokes

Absolutely delicious way to prepare Artichokes. They are hard to come by here but I found some at Costco.
I followed the recipe except for the cheese but to me it was still very good. I grew up eating Artichokes and love them. They don’t often carry them in the stores here and when they do they are small and very light. They are not worth buying but the ones I got at Costco are large and heavy. Just a shame that Costco is 2 hours away:(

For those that like or want to try Artichokes I would suggest this recipe.

That looks great Manella! I'll have to pass this onto my Aunt. She lives within spitting distance of the ocean on the west-coast, and grows artichokes on a sunny hill. They do very well, and some years they are really big! I rarely see artichokes here too. Too bad your Costco is so far away. :(

I have been lucky to cook fresh artichokes a couple times, I try and catch them when they go on sale because they can get expensive! This is looks like such a good, simple recipe, love the artichoke pics :)

Hi Shona, oh your lucky Aunt having Artichokes growing. I was surprised as I had never seen them at Costco before but hope they carry them on a regular basis.

Hello Michelle, thank you. You are right about Artichokes being expensive but when you find good ones totally worth it.
