Sweet N Sour Slaw

I'm trying to use up my fridge veggies before I go out of town, and I had pretty much everything to make this, so I did! What I didn't have was the purple cabbage and the green bell pepper. I think I would have left out the green bell pepper anyway though. I LOVED this slaw! It's not too loaded with mayo since the vinegar is in there and you end up with a slightly creamy and sweet, tangy coleslaw. Used fresh basil and parsley. Will definitely be made again and again!

Looks good! I've been wanting to make a good slaw. I will skip the green peppers because we dislike them. Love the orange and yellow tho.

Thanks Beshy! I only like green peppers cooked, in soups and things, do not care for them raw :)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I did not let it sit in the fridge over night before digging in. Still tasted great and look forward to having some more today with lunch!

    That looks wonderful Michelle!
I'm not a fan of raw green peppers either and prefer all the other colours :D
That dressing sounds really good too! :)

The dressing was good Shona! I've always made either just mayo based or just vinegar based coleslaw, but it was nice with the mix!

This was awesome! I was trying to come up with a way to describe the taste of the dressing, but the name says it all sweet and tangy!!
I used a little bit of red, yellow and orange bell peppers. And followed everything else to T. Love the dressing!
