    **July Recipe Challenge--Sandwiches**

This is a MONSTER sandwich and a meal all by itself. Except, I didn’t put enough ham on it. lol! With the large poppyseed roll and 2 slices of cheese, it needs stacked with ham (like the recipe photo) to get the ratios correct. Mine was too bready and cheesy and stuck to the roof of my mouth . FYI--The bread is a poppyseed onion roll that I found in the bakery. The recipe didn’t specify what kind of cheese so I used Havarti on one and Swiss on the other since that’s what I had on hand. I’m guessing this is supposed to be a cold sandwich. I think with the baked ham, it would be good served warm.

Looks absolutely delicious DIZ!! Wow, that poppyseed roll is beautiful, not sure if I'd ever find something like that in our bakery section. I could see how you would want this warmed, I think melty cheese over that ham would be perfect :)

Mommyluvs2cook--Thank you! Love a hot ham 'n cheese, but it's going to have to wait for cooler weather.
